This will be your downfall, friend!

So, Downfall, a commercial game created by Remigiusz Michalski released back in 2009, also rated with the five cups of AGS glory, is now free. I also did something with it, but I forget. It's a lovely game regardless so you should get it. Plus I believe Grim is remaking it, so it's a bold move to set the non-upgraded version up for grabs. Have I reviewed this in the past also? God, I don't remember much.

FOR PLAYERS 18+ ONLY. CONTAINS DISTURBING SCENES, BAD LANGUAGE, VIOLENCE & SEXUAL REFERENCES.

Blonde Ladies.

The amazing creator of the Cat Lady thought it'd be nice to give as an in-game view of what the hell has he been doing the last 3 years. Personally, there are some images with him on a beach along with a martini and a beautiful blonde that are missing, but till I get my hands on those, you'll have to see related to the game.

Downtime.

Dualnames, bicilotti told me to tell you (3 hours, 34 minutes and 5 seconds ago): blog about downtime

Downtime. From the beginning of mankind, servers went down for maintenance. This time however it's all qptain_nemo, Ben304 and uoou's fault.

They hacked the forums to destroy the core of a wonderful community.

That's how I feel.

BYTE OF THE DRACULATOR II

PLOT: Vampire + Mad Scientist + Terminator + Hot Twins. Do you need more?

MORE INFORMATION: This game is the fruit of the Swarm, an experimental collaborative project of the AGS Community to prove that you can Zerg Rush the f#$^ out of a game. The list of credits is impossible as many AGSers collaborated on this project. Along with the game, a fantastic voice-pack is included, that will totally crack you up. Especially Merrick's voice by ShiverMeSideways, is a reason alone to play this game.

Cat Lady, where are you?

Well, it appears that the second trailer for the upcoming game, by Remigiugz Michalski, that brought us Downfall, is here, and this seems a bit normal. Well, you'll disagree with me, but I have played some portions of this game, and this is normal compared to what happens in the game.

Trust me, reader.

Mind you there is a bit of not-under 18 content!!

Game Review: Polly want a Crack-er?

Last night I spent some time playing this game by R. Michalski, famous for Downfall. Having actually the chance of talking a lot with him, he told me that he released this game, and I actually will be honest, I didn't bother to play it.

The story starts with Lucas Zerko (you) losing your dad and parrot by a cult. You don't really care about your dad being dead, but more about your parrot being kidnapped, so your quest starts to find your friend Grim, and have him help you out. The whole town is one hell of a bizarre characters, all of them greatin my honest opinion.

The graphics have a charm and the animations mostly get by. The music and ambient sounds work rather well for me, and I loved the usage of some songs. The enjoyable factor is great especially if you're into Nirvana, Fool's Garden, Raemonn, Coldplay. The writing and dialogues will definitely appear to be rather crazy and random, but damn, the innuendos I could catch made me laugh badly.

The randomness and crazyness is where this game actually excels, and the very reason why I suggest it. It's also the only horror comedy you'll ever see from the author. It's not the best game around, but so far its number 1 in my list of AGS games for 2010. It lasted 1-2 hours top, but its very enjoyable, and the puzzles have a certain logic (even in crazy ways).

So yes, stop crying that you can make better games, and Go play it.
