Still alive

Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm going to be moving country again, so that's my excuse. If only Dualnames were still here with his zany wit. Oh well.

  1. Ah, new blog content! At last!

Love the new poll, by the way. I think I may have a way to lure Dualnames back. Have you considered a simple snare? Like the ones you can make to catch rabbits? All you need is the right bait.

Since Dualnames is no longer blogging here, I can assume he is no longer sleeping on your sofa and eating all your leftover pizza (in my mind, you two are the original Odd Couple). That means he's probably living on the streets like a hobo. This a fate common to many ex-bloggers. But I doubt he's gone very far. New hobos tend to stick close to areas they know. (A ready source of leftover pizza is a powerful lure).

Further, he really seems to like the Barn Runner games (for some strange reason. Possibly a sign of mental illness). So here is my plan...

I release a new Barn Runner game. You take the first copy of it and place it in your backyard, under a cage made from old coat hangers.

When Dualnames sneaks into your yard (just before dawn as I'm envisioning it) looking for scraps of pizza or to vote in the latest poll, he'll be drawn to the shiny, new Barn Runner game like a bunny to a carrot.

As soon as he takes the bait, you drop the cage on him (you've been hiding in the shrubbery since 3 a.m., in case I forgot to mention this bit). After that, all you have to do is slip a lap top in there, perhaps the odd cheeseburger, and he'll happily blog away again. Plus, he'll have a new Barn Runner game to snuggle up with every night.

This is an airtight plan, as I see it, SSH. If you are interested, let me know and I'll release a new Barn Runner game forthwith.

Together we can get Dualnames back!

  2. Or I could just get someone else to post long, crazy stuff here. But who else posts long crazy stuff. Ponch? Any ideas? :)

  3. Ah, clearly I should just be quiet and lay low for a while. ;-)

(But if you need help making that cage out of straightened out coat hangers, let me know)
